Ever since Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams made their red carpet debut at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards, it seems things are getting more and more serious between the two.

In details obtained by The Sun, it seems Abrams has relocated from Los Angeles and New York to the UK. It seems she’s moved there to work on music while Mescal films for the upcoming Beatles biopics.
“Paul and Gracie are the real deal. He is loving his life on this awards-season run with Hamnet, working on The Beatles films and feeling settled with Gracie,” an inside source said. “One advantage of being committed to a long project like this is they can stay rooted to a city for a long run instead of moving like ships in the night. They have been balancing their work lives. She is using London as her base and has been writing and recording here.”
Not only is this a huge step for the couple, but this report shows that Abrams has left her family homes behind (for now)! Her dad, J.J. Abrams, resides in Pacific Palisades after working in the real estate world in Calif for some time (much like Ellen DeGeneres).
Now, Gracie was born and raised in California, but purchased a $5.5 million penthouse in Greenwich Village, New York City, in early 2025. But now it seems she’s said goodbye to it all for love!

For those who don’t know, after an online exchange in 2020, the pair were first rumored to be together in 2023. However, insiders claimed he broke it off in the winter of 2023 before officially getting together in June 2024. In late 2024, they both arrived at each other’s events, supporting one another!
They went social media-official in the summer of 2025, but months prior, she briefly mentioned their romance in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
“What I love about a healthy relationship is that your life doesn’t radically change,” Gracie said, hinting at Mescal. “You just fit into each other in a way that feels positively challenging and deeply supportive—it’s like a place to land.”
