It’s official — the Kate Spade New York x Target collection is almost here. Now, I’m not a mother (yet), but I treat my toddler niece as if she were my own — which is why we always have matching outfits. Anytime I see an opportunity for a cute matching family moment, I take it. And the new Kate Spade x Target Mommy & Me outfits are almost too adorable for words. Trust me — when I got an exclusive first look late last month at the Partnership Celebration party, I bought nearly every matching set in sight. Luckily, my wallet helped talk some sense into me. While there are quite a few options, I ended up walking away with what I thought were the three best outfit sets worth the money.

As soon as I saw this green dress in the campaign imagery, I knew I had to have it. And the toddler version is twice as cute, in my opinion. Although long, it’s very lightweight and structured, so it’s perfect for spring and summer. I’m obsessed with how adorable the mini version is — so much so I think I’m going to get mine shortened so my niece and I can truly match.

kate spade new york x Target Women’s Plaid Mini Sweater Dress + Toddler Tie-Shoulder Plaid Romper
If you can get your hands on this matching outfit, do it! The plaid mini dress is made with a super stretchy fabric that feels so soft to the touch that I can’t wait to wear it. I also love that the mini-me piece is a matching romper instead of a dress, so it’s a little different.

kate spade new york x Target Women’s Textured Polka Dot Puff Short Sleeve Blouse + Toddler Ruffle 2pc Top and Bottom Set
I almost didn’t get the two-piece ruffle set because I couldn’t find the matching short-sleeve blouse. I love these outfits so much because they can be worn in so many ways. While I wish the adult blouse came with matching shorts, the outfit possibilities are endless with this one. I plan on wearing it with jeans or white chino shorts, and if I wanted to, I could have my niece do the same. Plus, she can mix and match on her own without me.
