She may be surrounded by zoo animals all day, but Bindi Irwin’s daughter, Grace Warrior, is still a horse girl at heart! Her grandma, Terri Irwin, revealed that the 4-year-old loves horses in a sweet new Instagram post.
“Grace knows how to celebrate The Year of the Horse!💕” Terri posted on Instagram on Feb. 17, marking the Lunar New Year.
In the photo, Grace holds the reins of a horse not much taller than her. The brown-and-white horse stands majestically next to Grace, as she looks up at it with heart eyes. Grace is so cute with her curly brown hair pulled back from her face and a pink koala-print t-shirt!

The comments were full of love for this sweet moment. “Start them young!! So dang cute! For now Zoo girl but future horse girl 😍” one person wrote. Another commented, “Looks like the perfect pony. Such a great skill to learn to ride 👏❤️🐎”
“Cutest little cowgirl!” someone else praised.
Earlier this week, Terri shared another photo of Grace, this time with a kangaroo joey. In this one, she wears a light pink princess dress (which just looks perfect for twirling!) as she sweetly waves at the little joey near her at Australia Zoo.
“When you visit @australiazoo, and you talk to the animals, they just might talk back!” Terri quipped in her caption. We can only imagine how special it would be to grow up inside Australia Zoo!

In a May 2024 interview with SheKnows, Bindi shared that her daughter is “100 percent a Wildlife Warrior.” “I mean, I think it’s genetic at this point,” she said with a laugh.
Bindi, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, continued, “Her thing is just animals. She likes to become an expert on animals. So her new thing is facts. So, she’ll say something like, ‘Koalas eat eucalyptus. That’s a fact,’” Bindi said while impersonating her daughter with a finger motion for extra emphasis.
“And it’s so cute, ‘cause it’s like, you know what? You can’t teach that. That is just who she is,” Bindi proudly added. From horses to kangaroos to everything in between, it’s clear Grace loves animals as much as the rest of the Irwin family!
