Elizabeth Hurley‘s blossoming romance with Billy Ray Cyrus could be a game-changer for his career, too.
The 63-year-old country singer is reportedly finding inspiration from his romance with the 60-year-old actress. He might go from “Achy Breaky Heart” to “sexy” love songs.
“His next album will include songs that are about Elizabeth for sure, he is definitely smitten with his new love, and she has become his muse,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “Billy is always working on new music, but lately he has been doing even more love songs, and it’s clear why. He is very happy with Elizabeth; she is motivating him in a very big way. The songs are all about how she ‘heals’ him and how sexy she is.”
The source is even teasing a surprise from Hurley, which might include “a duet with him” because “he feels she can sing, that singing is in her future.” It might surprise some fans to know that Hurley does have some onscreen singing in her past. She sang with Patsy Kensit in the 1990 film, Kill Cruise, and it definitely shows that she has some potential talents in the vocal department. (See the video here.)
Cyrus raved about his girlfriend on The Ty Bentli Show in April after they went Instagram official on Easter.
“We did very few scenes together, but the couple of times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there,” he said of their time filming 2022’s Christmas in Paradise, where they first met. “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.”
“The oddest part was, first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different, but in some very strange way, we had way more in common than we had different,” Cyrus continued. “If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman.”
That’s some high praise being compared to the Queen of Country! Hurley had equally as sweet things to say about her beau to Page Six in May. “I think people found Billy and I being together a little surprising,” she shared. “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well.”
And just like Cyrus pointed out, Hurley also mentioned that humor is a big part of their relationship. “We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love country music, both love movies,” she added. “We’ve got a lot in common — and cowboy boots, definitely.”
Cyrus and Hurley are making beautiful music together.
