Keith Urban‘s guitarist Maggie Baugh seems to be taking a step out of the public eye after getting swept up in his and Nicole Kidman‘s separation drama.
Baugh, who has been romantically linked to the 57-year-old country music star, did not join Urban on stage at his October 2 show at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, amid speculation about their relationship.
However, TMZ reports that Baugh is not a permanent fixture on Urban’s tour and was simply filling in for his regular guitarist when she got wrapped up in romance rumors with the “Somebody Like You” singer.

After news broke of Kidman and Urban’s allegedly “one-sided” separation on September 29, reports claimed that Urban had already moved on with “another woman.”
“All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman,” a source told TMZ. “Let’s just say Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
Then, Urban fueled those rumors by shouting out Baugh while they were performing together in Chicago.
While singing “The Fighter,” Urban replaced a lyric that should have said, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” with a gesture to Baugh as he sang, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.” Baugh shared the clip on her Instagram page.
However, Baugh’s father insists there is nothing romantic happening between his daughter and Urban, telling Daily Mail on Thursday, “I don’t know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him.”
“It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” he added, also saying that he hasn’t “heard one way or the other.”
Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, citing irreconciliable differences and listing the date of separation as the same date as the filing. The exes were married for 19 years and share two daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
