Kourtney Kardashian is not afraid to be open about her breastfeeding journey with her son Rocky Thirteen. The Lemme founder — who shares the 17-month-old with husband Travis Barker and kids Penelope, Mason, and Reign with ex Scott Disick — posted two [seemingly new] photos on Instagram of her breastfeeding her munchkin. And not only is she breaking down the stigma around public breastfeeding, but she’s also showing fans the most they have seen of baby Rocky yet.
In the opening shot, she is sitting in a big armchair in what looks like underwear and a nursing bra. She holds her son, who wears just a diaper and looks over her shoulder. We have yet to see the little guy’s face, but this might be the best glimpse we have gotten of his full head of dark hair. Followers can also see his adorably chunky arms and rubberband wrist (IYKYK).
In the second shot, Rocky is reclining in his mom’s lap and breastfeeding. The artsy shot is so stunning and a reminder of just how beautiful and empowering photos of moms breastfeeding can be.
“Nothing sweeter 🤍,” the official Poosh account commented.
“No better [sight] than a mama feeding her baby,” one fan added. “Beautiful!”
“Aw the best feeling in the world 🌍 wish we could normalise nursing our babies for longer ❤️,” another said.

And Kardashian already is breastfeeding Rocky “for longer.” She is one of the many celebrity moms who have been open about extended breastfeeding.
Though some experts recommend breastfeeding for as long as you and your baby want, most families stop breastfeeding after their baby turns 1. Rocky turned 1 back in November, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Kardashian keeps breastfeeding until his second birthday.
In 2011, the Poosh founder revealed to E! News that she stopped nursing Mason when he was 2 years old due to pressure from friends and family. “It’s really sad,” she said about weaning Mason off breast milk. “I’m like, it’s over.”
Or maybe, like Coco Austin, she will breastfeed for much longer. “[My daughter] Chanel still likes my boobs, she’s 5 years old,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s a big bonding moment for your mother and your child.”
And so long as mother and child are happy and healthy, the trolls can keep their opinions to themselves.
