Rumer Willis’s Daughter Louetta Sweetly Kisses Grandpa Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis got the sweetest birthday gift: an adorable kiss from his granddaughter Louetta “Lou,” 23 months. His ex-wife Demi Moore shared rare photos of the Die Hard actor with his family, including their daughters Rumer Willis, 36, Scout Willis, 33, and Tallulah Willis, 31, and Rumer’s daughter Lou, who she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas. The heartwarming moment between Lou and Bruce was captured on camera, and it’s a moment the family is sure to cherish forever.

“Happy birthday, BW! We love you ♥️” the Substance star wrote on Instagram. Bruce, who has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, smiles with his three eldest daughters and Moore by his side in the first picture and hugs Moore in the second. The family had a party with cool cookies that had Bruce’s face on them, and lots of sweet moments together.

But slide 4 is our favorite, as Moore crouches down to support Lou as Bruce holds his only granddaughter in his lap. The little girl is a burst of sunshine in a yellow dress with her hair up in a half ponytail. Her arms are wrapped around her grandpa as she gives him a kiss, and it makes our heart melt. Rumer stands next to her dad with her hand on his back in the beautiful family moment.

Moore also shared a photo of Bruce and Lou hanging out on slide 7. This time, Bruce is standing with Lou in his arms. They are both gazing at something off to the side, and they look identical!

In October, Rumer shared that her daughter not only looks like Bruce, she also acts like him too! “What’s amazing is actually that Louetta has that f—–g smirk in her eye!” Rumer told PEOPLE at the premiere of her film Trail of Vengeance. “She literally has that little sparkle, that certain thing that you can’t [see anywhere else].”

“It’s like this charm and charisma and mischief that just is who my dad is,” Rumer added. “And I love that she has that.”

The rest of the family showed love for the family patriarch as well. Rumer posted a throwback video of Bruce and Moore dancing, writing, “To the King … I love you Daddio.”

Tallulah shared a throwback photo of her dad, writing, “Happy 70th to my favorite friend! you are a light that can never be dimmed! I love you so proud to be your baby Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis 🐟🐠”

She also shared a photo of the two now, writing, “🎂🎂 he’s a spaceman, a hero with a badge, a sassy detective with unparalleled banter – and it’s been a privilege to witness all these different characters enlived, and engraved into history because of his innate sprit and soul.”

Scout posted a carousel of old and new memories with her dad, writing, “Happy birthday to the Greatest of all time. 🐐Every day I thank the Gods that 50% of my DNA is from him. The music I make, the magic I create, and the magnetic mischief I incite, that’s my father’s legacy alive in the world.”

In another post, Scout got vulnerable about her feelings for her dad. “I cried a lot this morning, because I’m a baddie and grief is non linear and I am so full of love,” she wrote in part. “Grief it’s the price I pay to get to feel this depth of love and I would never give my grief away.”

Despite the grief and pain of watching a loved one go through a difficult health diagnosis, little moments like birthday parties and family time are a bright spot to be treasured. And based on the smiles on their faces and the emotions in their words, the family is enjoying every moment.
