  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 8 cups mini marshmallows divided
  • 1 1/2 oz strawberry gelatin mix about half of a 3-oz box
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Melt the butter: In a large saucepan over low–medium heat, melt the butter completely.

  • Add marshmallows: Add a heaping 5 cups of marshmallows and let them sit for about 30 seconds, stirring gently.
